Competing for Prizes
The Isles offers three separate prizes each season. Choose which category you would like to compete in.
Each winner will receive:
$50
Exclusive Isles Winner merch to remind you of your victory
A Statue in the Hall Of Champions
These prizes go to the players that excel in one of three areas!
The three categories are the Architect, Sculptor and Designer.
Sometimes short skyblock events may run between seasons.

Each prize goes to the player that excels in one of three areas!
The three categories are the Architect, Sculptor and Designer.

Architect
The winner of this prize will be judged to be the best architectual build at the end of the season.
Compete in this category if buildings are your passion or if you have an inspirational build idea!
Architect
The winner of this prize will own the island with the highest value at the end of the season.
Increase your islands value by placing blocks within its borders, anywhere from Y1 to build limit!
Each block you place has a specific value. To find the value of the block type hold it in your hand and type /is value to reveal its worth. For example, cobblestone blocks have a value of 1 point whereas a redstone block has a value of 10!
Remember, if you are a member of a faction playing on a faction island, your 2 special faction blocks are worth a lot more to you than any other faction! Gain accelerated Island value by placing these blocks on your faction island! This also means that if you find faction blocks from another faction, members of those races may pay handsomely for them! Use this information to your benefit!
Sculptor
Enter this category if you enjoy building beasts, trees or landscapes.
If you are building anything from nature, this is the competition for you!
If you are unsure let Avomance, or a mod know and they can guide you.
Time Lord
This winner has dedication and commitment above all others. The Time Lord of each season will be the player who has logged the most hours played, outside of being AFK, over every 90-day season! The Gods of the Isles will log each active minute you play, whether building, interacting with the auction house or buying more blocks from the faction shopping districts! Keep moving to avoid going AFK and log that time for victory!
Designer
The Designer follows the Skyblock season theme.
This season our theme is fantasy.
Great for those with magical imaginations.
If you love building fantasy creatures, dragons, magical constructions, toadstool houses or want to create your own fantasy world – this is the place for you!
The Best Dressed Island will be the Skyblock that, is voted for by all the community.
To take part in this you MUST register your entry.
For a chance to win the title of “Best Dressed” you will need to use /is checkmeout (or faction command) to add your submission to our registry. For more information on commands – click here.
When voting, the community will be asked to choose between 5 Islands.
They will be asked to consider which is the most attractive, the cleverest & most aesthetic island of the season to gain their vote.
These 5 islands will be carefully selected for the skills and artistic eye shown when building them.
The candidate islands will be anonymous to the voters, and no coercion will be allowed!
The island with the most votes will be crowned winner and take the prize!
Please note that islands will not be entered into the best dressed category automatically. Island owners will need to enter the command /is checkmeout to enter.
Please remember that if you own a faction island, then replace /is with /his for human, /eis for elf, /dis for dwarf and /ois for orc!
Remember: islands will be selected for beauty, technical cleverness and suitability within their faction… most likely a combination of all three!
Best Dressed
The Best Dressed Island will be the Skyblock that, is voted for by all the community.

- SCULPTOR: – awarded to the best sculpture or natural build.
- ARCHITECT: awarded to the best structural build.
- DESIGNER: awarded to the best build that follows the season theme.

- Prizes are awarded at the end of each season.
- Please note when playing as a team, only the island owner will gain the prize.
These are judged by Avomance, a mod panel and the public.
All competitors will have their builds shown live on stream and winners will be announced live on Twitch.
To enter, remember to to use the command: /is checkmeout in game chat (or your faction command). Let a Mod know your category choice in Discord or in-game chat.
- You are welcome to play as a team, (max 4), with 1 prize per island.
- We respect your privacy and without your permission (/is checkmeout) your island will not be shown or entered for the competition.
The winners
Each winner will receive:
- $50
- Exclusive merch
- Statue at the centre of Skyblock spawn for the whole of the next season
- Your head with a plaque, permanently on display on the wall of Skyblock heroes, for all to see
All winners will be personally contacted by Avomance
This will be through discord to arrange the delivery of the prizes.
Winners will have a statue placed in honour in the ruined tower at the top of Mount Doom, in the centre of spawn, for all to see!

Here are some frequently asked Questons that may Help
How do I recover lost water sources?
Water buckets and ice blocks are available via the in-game shops at spawn. You do not have to pay real money for these as you earn GPs in game and can buy them with those.
How Do I recover lost lava?
- if your lava is “gone” there are buckets of lava available in the Human Shops at spawn.
- If your lava has been turned into obsidian you can simply “right click” with your bucket in hand and it will convert your obsidian block back into lava.
- You also have two more drastic options.
- You can type /is restart and it will set your island back to it’s default state.
- Or /is reset which will remove your old island completely and allow you to change the entire island to any of the options available to you.
How do I reset my island and start again?

Where are the Island Shops located & What can I buy?
- The island shops are spread out throughout the 4 factions districts at spawn. To get there type /spawn . Follow the signs and find the nether portal for the shop you want. Then follow the signs from there to the shop.
- Everyone can buy from all of the shops. Each shop sells different items.
- Human Shop – food, and miscellaneous — Human Castle — entrance to castle is on the side closest to the Dwarf borders.
- Elf Shop – plants, enchanting & end items — Elven Meeting Hall — entrance faces the side closest to the Orc borders.
- Orc Shop – sand, terracotta & nether items — Orc Chieftain’s tent — large circular tent in center of the Orc area.
- Dwarf Shop – ores, stone & redstone bits — Dwarven Market Stalls — up the stairs in the courtyard of the Dwarven Keep.
Is it possible to sell more than one item at a time in the shops?
- Yes , if you “Crouch and Right Click” while holding the items in your hand you will sell the entire amount in hand. Careful to hold the RIGHT amount!
What can I win?

Each winner will receive a $50 to spend as they wish PLUS an exclusive Isles winner’s merch to remind you of your victory!
The three categories are:
“Sculptor” – Best sculpture
“Architect” – Best building
“The Designer” -Best themed build
Island owners can only enter ONE category eg ‘The Designer’ and will need to enter the command /is checkmeout to have a chance of winning and have Avomance stream your amazing build.

Can I really Play for Free?
Yes! You absolutely can. Collect GPs to spend by playing on theSkyblock Server. Trade with the community to gain extra GPs.
All players have access to the Auction House ( /ah )
Islanders and Rank1 faction members have the ability to sell 1 slot worth of items at a time in the auction house. The other faction ranks have increased slot numbers depending on their rank.
- As you play on the Isles you will earn a certain amount of “GP (in game Currency)” per hour. The longer you play, the more you earn. Increases in the amount of GP you earn will be awarded after predetermined amounts of play time.
- 0 – 3 days (in game time) – 28 GP per hour
- 1 – 7 days (in game time) – 42 GP per hour
- 1 – 14 days (in game time) – 56 GP per hour
- 1 – 21 days (in game time) – 70 GP per hour
- 1 – 30 days (in game time) – 84 GP per hour
- 1 + (in game time) – 100 GP per hour
